Morgan Thomas Project Officer Reef Catchments

Morgan works in partnership with stakeholders for the protection and enhancement of remnant threatened ecological communities in the MWI region. Morgan has previously worked for a university, private consultancy, and local Landcare group and as a result has experience in areas such as native vegetation management, ecological surveys and project management.

Morgan holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) with a major in Biology and minors in Environmental and Wildlife Sciences, and has a resulting scientific publication comparing detection methods for rare and cryptic small mammal species. Conservation has always been a passion for Morgan, and he aims to utilise this passion and experience to make a positive impact in the MWI region for Reef Catchments.
