Hi, I’m Kellie, a Project Officer with the Reef Catchments Conservation and Communities team. My involvement with Reef Catchments began when I was a student completing my Bachelor of Environmental Practice in 2020. I joined the Waterways team to assist with their water sampling program during the wet season, and having enjoyed my experience so much returned again during my next university break. When it came time to decide where to complete my professional internship as part of my Master’s degree, Reef Catchments was my first choice. I was elated to join the Conservation and Communities team, working to improve the ecological condition of freshwater streams and wetlands.
I am proud of the work we deliver for our region, and the people I am surrounded by make everyday a joy.
Reef Catchments is the place for me!
What next?
