Islands project storymap
Through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program, Reef Catchments has completed a range of works to protect and enhance islands within the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area.
The Islands project includes working with turtles, establishing a Youth Ambassador group, removing weeds from Goldsmith Island, monitoring seagrasses and collecting marine debris. Learn more about each of these activities in this storymap.
