Sheridan grew up on a large-scale cattle station northwest of Charters Towers, and has worked on cattle stations since she was 15, including a cattle and cropping ranch in Canada for a year. She has completed Certifications II, III, and IV in Agriculture, and also holds a diploma of Community Development.
Sheridan has previously worked for NQ Dry Tropics NRM on the Landholders Driving Change Major Integrated Project as a grazing field officer for 3 1/2 years.
Sheridan has a passion for sustainability in agriculture, herd management, and retaining young people in the agriculture industry, and is excited to apply her skills and knowledge to her current role as a Grazing Management Project Officer.
