Rebecca completed a Bachelor of Environmental Science Major in Conservation and Ecology at the University of New England, during which time she completed work experience with the Reef Team looking at seagrass rehabilitation and propagation.
Rebecca has hands-on experience in the marine industry working as a First Mate and dive supervisor where she developed a strong interest in marine ecosystems, and operational and risk management experience. Through this job, as well as another doing crown-of-thorns starfish (COTS) control, she has built significant dive and in-water experience.
