Nicole (Nikki) is a Whitsunday local with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Marine and Wildlife Biology. Following graduation, she worked in bush regeneration before relocating to Clermont, where she progressed into a Senior Environmental Officer role with Isaac Regional Council.
With over five years of environmental management experience, Nikki has developed expertise across biosecurity, biodiversity management (including human–wildlife conflict), sustainability, climate initiatives, and environmental regulation. Her strong understanding of legislative and regulatory frameworks is complemented by skills in project management, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and aligning environmental outcomes with organisational objectives.
Nikki is passionate about balancing environmental stewardship with community needs, drawing on her diverse background she aims to drive projects that sustainably balance ecological objectives with evolving social, economic and stakeholder pressures.
