Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Master of Science in International Education, and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Biology with a focus on community-based conservation. Lisa also resides on a sugarcane/cattle farm which provides her with invaluable firsthand insights into the challenges faced by local farmers.
Prior to joining Reef Catchments, Lisa dedicated 22 years to secondary biology/environmental science education in locations such as Australia, Jordan, Qatar, the Dominican Republic, and the United States. With a keen interest in sustainable agriculture and community-based conservation, Lisa is excited to engage with farmers in the region participating in Major Grants.
