Jamay Deshong

As an indigenous identified project officer, Jamay works to create and maintain meaningful relationships with Traditional Owners. Her focus is on creating inclusive relationships allowing for the exchange of traditional knowledge and tools to benefit and educate natural resource management groups, the community and emerging generations.
Having been born and bred in Mackay, Jamay is keen to use her local knowledge to make a positive difference in the community and environment.
