Working alongside all Reef Catchment departments, Ian coordinates Sustainable Agriculture
projects improving resilience, profitability and soil and water quality across the region.
Following an international role leading sustainable agriculture projects for nine years, Ian
returned to Queensland to continue working with his interests in research, development and driving
profitability through effectual resource management. Directing a diversified agribusiness for
many years and gaining a PhD in Sustainable Agriculture Development has given Ian deep insight
into the economic opportunities and threats in culturally diverse agriculture systems.
