Emma has previously worked as an environmental consultant in the environmental assessment and management space. She has been involved in several large-scale mining, water resource and infrastructure approvals projects ranging from Northern Queensland to the Gold Coast Hinterland.
Emma holds a Bachelor of Environmental Management (Hons), majoring in Natural Systems & Wildlife through the University of Queensland. Her passion resides in natural resource management with a focus on water quality improvement and watercourse recovery. As part of the Water Waterways team with Reef Catchments, Emma uses her knowledge in environmental management and natural systems to implement various projects to improve water quality and river management throughout the region.
