Chanelle is an environmental professional with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Plant Agriculture, Environment and Sustainability. She specialises in soil science and natural resource management, with a focus on how soils and landscapes function to support resilient and sustainable land use. Through her work in land resource assessment and her role with Reef Catchments as a Grazing Project Officer and Drought Resilience Coordinator, Chanelle has developed skills in soil and landscape evaluation, data interpretation, extension, and stakeholder engagement.
Drawing on a background in military transition coaching, Chanelle brings a strong understanding of identity and behaviour change to her work. She is particularly interested in how land management practices align with values, identity, and lived experience — recognising these as critical drivers of meaningful and lasting change. She works at the intersection of science, land management, and people, translating technical knowledge into practical insights that support resilient landscapes, productive agricultural systems, and regional communities.
