Anita is a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) with a particular interest in delivering high-value infrastructure solutions that benefit the community, improve road safety and network resilience. Anita has successfully led teams in the major planning and delivery of engineering designs for transport projects in the Mackay-Whitsunday Region.
Beyond engineering, Anita is a beef producer west of Sarina, where she and her family have focused on improving land conditions, as well as animal and soil health through sustainable grazing practices. Her deep connection to the land, rooted by her upbringing in Eungella on Yuwibara Country, fuels her commitment to environmental stewardship and community wellbeing.
Anita brings to the Reef Catchments Board a unique blend of technical expertise and agricultural insight. She is driven by values of collaboration, sustainability, and integrity and is passionate about creating long-term value for people, land, and future generations.
