Project Officer - Great Barrier Reef

Alexandra holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology, a Postgraduate Certificate in Marine Ecosystem Management, and a Master’s degree in Environmental Science, with a research focus on seabird chick growth modelling and seagrass restoration.

Since 2023, Alexandra has worked with Central Queensland University at the Coral Sea Marina Seagrass Nursery, contributing to seagrass restoration projects and monitoring across the Whitsunday Region. Alexandra is the Project Officer for the (Sea)Grassroots Community Restoration for Reef Health and Resilience Project, a three-year initiative funded by the Australian Government.
