Sally’s interest in sustainable agriculture and conserving and protecting natural resources, is lifelong.

Through developing and operating many small businesses in regional communities, Sally has gained extensive experience sourcing and supplying local producers. Before joining Reef Catchments, Sally was a Project Leader with not-for-profit conservation organisation Wild Mob, where she was involved in developing a diverse portfolio of projects in the Great Barrier Reef, Maria Island (Tasmania), Norfolk Island, Avocet Nature Refuge Bridled Nail Tailed Wallaby Nursery and Rottnest Island. These projects involved multi stakeholder collaboration including, government agencies, landowners, universities, community groups and the general public.

Sally has a Bachelor of Environmental Science, majoring in Water Resource Management and a Graduate Certificate in Environmental Management.
