Emma is an environmental scientist with experience in flora and fauna monitoring and research, project management and stakeholder engagement. Emma holds a PhD in ecology, and is passionate about connecting the local community with the natural environment. Throughout her career, Emma has worked in research and NRM liaising with a range of stakeholders including scientists, government, community and industry.

Emma now works to coordinate the Coast and Biodiversity team and facilitates the Mackay Whitsunday Isaac Traditional Owner Reference Group.
