In his role as Corporate Services Manager, Derek is responsible for accounting and reporting, HR and administrative support. He comes to this role after extensive experience in the sugar, METS, aluminium, and business services industries, with 8 years spent as Director/Treasurer of the Resource Industry Network.
Derek started his career as a commercial accountant and graduated through to CEO status in management of a SME. Apart from his focus on financial management and analysis, human resources and administration, he places emphasis on necessary work skills and the person to build a team of highly professional people with a strong desire to serve the organisation effectively.
