FOR GRAZIERS, BY GRAZIERS.

Read the full details about the workshops.

Best management practices in grazing will be the focus of free workshops, run by producers for producers, at Proserpine and Walkerston/Mackay in September.

The workshops will focus on five modules of an online self-assessment tool, Grazing Best Management Practices, which has been designed to help producers to self-assess and to improve their business performance.

The information sessions will cover five modules of the Grazing BMP program including soil health, animal health and welfare, grazing land management, animal production and people and business.

The Grazing BMP program is a voluntary, industry led process which helps graziers identify improved practices which can help them increase long term profitability.

It also helps identify the steps which need to be taken to incorporate best management practices.
