Innovative Grazing Network

Lots of people in a paddock.
Soil science can be fun and interesting! Come along to the Innovative Grazing Network, Neighbours Unite, on 8 May for a get-together of extension staff, community groups, and landholders from neighbouring NRM regions.

If you are wondering how drones can assist you, wonder no more as Whitsunday Regional Council will demonstrate how drones can help in both mapping and treating weeds.

Reef Catchments and NQ Dry Tropics are collaborating with this free day to help landholders and community groups to build their knowledge of soil health and innovative technologies.

Agronomy expert, David Hardwick, will be on hand to talk about assessment of soils and the importance of multi-species pastures.

Lunch will be provided at the event at 2713 Peter Delemonthe Road. Please RSVP by 1 May.
